The Director of Sales is responsible for leading and managing all sales-related activities at the property, including developing and executing strategic sales plans to maximize revenue, drive market share, and achieve hotel goals. This role serves as the primary solo sales leader and is expected to cultivate strong relationships with clients, key accounts, and community partners while maintaining brand standards and Hilton values. Responsibilities: Establish strategies to assist the sales team in meeting and exceeding monthly room booking goals that are aligned with overall hotel and revenue management objectives. Solicit new guests with targeted outbound sales initiatives, such as personal calls to your network and phone solicitations to local professionals, travel agencies, and other groups that will generate new revenue. Develop and implement sales strategies that maintain high levels of occupancy and profitability through coordination with department managers. Design a strategy to meet hotel financial goals, create marketing deliverables, and develop an annual sales forecast by analyzing market data. Organize meetings with department heads, report on sales activity for the previous and upcoming weeks, and produce a monthly expense report for all hotel sales-related expenses. Qualifications: Proven track record of sales success in lead-generation and closing skills. Prior experience of 5+ years as a sales professional in a related field is required. Must have a high school diploma or GED and a bachelors degree in business, marketing, or a related field. Exemplary communication skills, leadership skills, and analytical skills. Must be able to use basic computer software including Microsoft Office. Previous hospitality industry experience preferred but not required. Hilton Sales Experience is preferred but not required.
