About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Public Policy Officer to lead the development and execution of a comprehensive policy agenda that aligns with its vision, mission, and core values. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the creation and advocacy of healthcare policies at all levels, with a focus on advancing quality care, access, and health equity. This role involves building and maintaining relationships with policymakers, regulatory bodies, and key stakeholders to influence healthcare policy. The Chief will also be a key member of the executive leadership team, providing strategic guidance and thought partnership. Key responsibilities for the Chief Public Policy Officer include developing and implementing a public policy strategy, monitoring legislative and regulatory developments, and leading the creation of policy positions and advocacy materials. The role also involves representing the organization in various public policy discussions, collaborating with partners, and mobilizing stakeholders for policy initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in research and analysis, team leadership, and development, and will ensure that all public policy activities are compliant with legal and ethical standards. Additionally, the Chief will work with the Advancement team to identify funding opportunities and support grant proposals related to public policy initiatives.
