About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to provide essential financial leadership and stewardship. The CFO will be a key member of the executive team, responsible for the financial health of the organization and for ensuring that financial strategies align with the mission. This role involves overseeing all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management, and maintaining a system of internal controls to safeguard assets. The CFO will also be the primary relationship manager with external financial entities and will play a critical role in donor relations, particularly in supporting fundraising efforts. The successful candidate will be a strategic partner, a steward of financial and investment assets, and an operator of an efficient financial operation. They must have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business administration, with a strong understanding of GAAP nonprofit accounting, and at least 10 years of experience in a similar role, including previous CPA firm experience. The CFO will be expected to lead and mentor the finance team, participate in strategic planning, and ensure compliance with all financial regulatory requirements. Key skills include operational analysis, planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cash management, as well as exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities. The role requires a high EQ, the ability to build and sustain trust, and a commitment to fostering a culture of continuous learning and adaptability.
