About the Role
The VP/Director of Operations will be responsible for leading leading operational excellence across all company-owned restaurant locations. This role is responsible for implementing industry-leading standards to ensure a consistently high-quality guest experience, balancing speed, friendliness, and hospitality with a strong internal culture. Through hands-on leadership, the VP oversees financial performance, including budget development, P&L analysis, and cost-control measures, while identifying operational inefficiencies and driving scalable process improvements. The position is also charged with maximizing profitability, monitoring performance metrics, and maintaining clear communication with both internal leadership and external stakeholders. By fostering a results-driven, people-focused culture, this leader ensures operational effectiveness in alignment with organizational growth and long-term goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong record of executive leadership, with a minimum of 8 years in progressively responsible roles, including at least 3 years at the senior executive level. A Bachelor’s degree is required, and an advanced degree or equivalent leadership experience is highly preferred. Candidates should have prior success in leading high-performing operations teams, ideally in a multi-location or hospitality environment. Proven ability to communicate expectations clearly and motivate diverse teams is critical, as is the ability to lead cross-functional collaboration with finance, executive leadership, and frontline managers. Financial acumen is essential, including experience managing profit and loss statements, setting performance metrics, and implementing cost-control strategies. A deep commitment to service excellence, a passion for creating people-first workplace cultures, and a focus on strategic innovation will distinguish top candidates.
