Are you a hands-on, reliable team player looking to build your career in a dynamic manufacturing environment? We’re looking for a Trade Assistant to support our skilled tradespeople in delivering high-quality work while ensuring a safe and efficient workspace.

As a Trade Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting our fitters, boilermakers, and wider team with:

• General labouring tasks to assist with fabrication, assembly, and repairs

• Preparing materials and maintaining tools and equipment

• Keeping the job site clean, safe, and organised

• Operate machines and usie hand tools to assemble components

• Translating technical drawings and schematics into quality work

• Supporting stores and inventory management as required

Requirements

• More than 2 years of general assembly job experience

• Mechanical knowledge/experience required

• Electrical knowledge an advantage

• Prior experience in a similar role or a manufacturing/workshop environment

• Ability to use hand and power tools and operate machinery safely and effectively

• Physically fit and ability to lift approx. 25kg

• Must be able to see details at close range

• Good understanding of workplace health & safety practices

• Forklift licence, Elevated Work Platform (EWP) Licence, Crane training and certificate (or willing to obtain)
