ROLE IMPACT
This role is critical in securing new business through accurate, compliant, and compelling proposal submissions. As the lead writer and organizer of RFP responses, your work directly influences the company's ability to win public and private sector contracts, shaping strategic growth and operational direction.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Monitor and evaluate incoming RFPs/RFQs; determine pursuit strategy with leadership
• Lead all phases of proposal development—writing, formatting, coordinating inputs, and final submission
• Maintain a robust database of proposal templates, resumes, standard forms, and historical submissions
• Research, write, and edit technical and non-technical documents, including reports, manuals, and patent applications
• Ensure all submitted materials meet formatting, quality, and compliance standards; manage physical production (printing, binding, shipping)
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• 2+ years in technical writing, grant writing, or proposal coordination
• Strong command of English grammar, structure, and technical vocabulary
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite, especially Word and Excel
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines, communicate cross-functionally, and work independently

• RFP monitoring platforms (e.g., NAHRO, PHADA, HUD websites)
PREFERRED SKILLS
• Experience with government procurement documentation
• Familiarity with desktop publishing tools
• Working knowledge of housing or technical consulting industries
