NOTE: this is a paid part time position targeted toward current college students pursuing a degree in a creative field.

Summary of Position

A multi-faceted customer and sales support Internship - based in our ADAC Showroom, centered on providing an exceptional level of service to our clients all over the world. Will be responsible for supporting our sales and marketing activities by answering product inquiries, sample requests and pricing. This position has a great long term growth opportunity with an industry leading company.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to internal and external customer inquiries in person and with email and phone 
• Fulfill daily outbound sample requests (in person and by mail)
• Field and direct sales inquires to the appropriate sales rep
• Manage marketing collateral and sample inventory
• Provide administrative support for coworkers and management

Excellent customer service and communication skills; with a warm, approachable manner that will have internal and external customers raving about them
Creative background in art and design with a passion for interiors, furnishings, textiles and wallcoverings
Take ownership of the many projects delegated to them from the various departments 
Take the initiative to help out where needed

Quick learner, detail oriented, accurate and organized

Unfailingly exhibits professional phone and email etiquette (even on bad hair days)

Knows how to have fun in a fast paced and sometimes frantic environment 

Job Skills, Qualifications and Experience

• Previous experience in a customer facing role in a high end retail store, design showroom or marketing support role
• Currently pursuing a degree in a creative field: Interior Design, Architecture, Textile Design, Industrial Design is preferred. 
• Knowledge of professional phone and email etiquette
• Strong computer skills, including MS Office Suite, Excel, Word, Outlook is required; experience with Adobe Creative Suite and Quickbooks accounting s/w is highly desirable 

Other Info

Location : In person, company showroom, Atlanta, GA 

Typical work week : Part time hours depending on school schedule - must be able to work 15-25 hours per week between the hours of 9a-5p, Monday – Friday (no weekend or evening work)
