Title: Senior Internal Auditor
 
Location: San Diego - Hybrid, 4 days mandatory onsite
 
Salary: $80-105k + Bonus + RSUs
 
Position Overview: This role plays a key part in supporting management and the Audit Committee in improving processes to manage risks tied to achieving the company’s business objectives. Responsibilities include:
  • Creating initial audit planning memos and process/control flows
  • Identifying and assessing risks and control activities
  • Designing audit procedures to evaluate control effectiveness
  • Developing innovative data analytics test approaches aligned with audit objectives
  • Performing audit testing, identifying deviations from expected controls, and communicating findings to the audit team and business management
  • Staying updated on changes in the business and industry to assess impacts on the company’s risk profile
  • Contributing to the development of new audit techniques and continuous process improvements
 
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
  • 3+ years of Finance, Accounting, or related experience
  • CPA or CIA (or actively pursuing)
  • Experience in Big 4 or mid-tier Public Accounting
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to lead discussions and walkthroughs with senior management
 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in the technology sector.
  • Internal and External Audit experience
