Job Description:

As a Senior Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for QCG design projects, creating engaging visuals, providing creative direction for all our brands, and other duties as assigned. This position is also responsible for ensuring brand consistency across various marketing materials, collaborating with stakeholders, and staying current on design trends and technologies. We seek a driven, entrepreneurial, and detail-oriented individual eager to learn about our industry and grow with our company.

Reports to the Chief Marketing Officer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and Manage Design Projects: Oversee projects from conception to delivery, ensuring they align with brand guidelines and project requirements.
  • Create Visual Content: Design and produce high-quality visuals for various mediums, such as websites, brochures, social media, and marketing materials. Print knowledge is a must.
  • Provide Creative Direction: Offer guidance and feedback to junior designers, mentoring them on design principles and techniques.
  • Ensure Brand Consistency: Maintain a consistent visual identity across all marketing efforts, ensuring brand guidelines are followed.
  • Graphic Design: Create visually appealing graphics for social media, marketing materials, and branded assets.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with marketing teams, clients, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver effective designs.
  • Stay Updated: Keep abreast of industry trends, new technologies, and design best practices.
  • Review and Approve Work: Review junior designer work, providing feedback and meeting quality standards. This would include utilizing correct grammar.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proficiency in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Experience with social media platforms and management tools.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with a robust marketing team.
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a brand management or marketing role with a national brand is a plus.
  • Strong leadership and entrepreneurial skills.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of high-quality design work.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with teams and stakeholders.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving to analyze design challenges and develop creative solutions.
