Job Title: Automation Tester

Locations: Plano

Pay Range: $50 - $53/hr.

Duration: 12-18 Months (Potential for Full-Time Conversion)

Job Description:

We are seeking an Automation Tester. This role requires a skilled professional with expertise in test automation, security testing, and API validation. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with UFT/QTP, middleware testing, and test script development for web applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using UFT/QTP for web and middleware applications.
  
• Perform UI, API (SOAP/REST), business logic, data integrity, and security testing to ensure application quality.
  
• Investigate middleware components, troubleshoot issues, and ensure seamless integration.
  
• Document defects, participate in triage meetings, and communicate effectively with developers and stakeholders.
  
• Stay up to date with testing technologies, automation best practices, and security testing methodologies.
  

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in software testing with a focus on automation.
  
• 3+ years of hands-on automation experience using UFT/QTP.
  
• Strong experience in API testing (SOAP & REST) and security testing.
  
• Familiarity with middleware technologies and web service testing.
  
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
