A bit about us: Job Overview:
Responsible for pipe welding and fitting for stainless and carbon steel pipes. Daily tasks include troubleshooting and repairing process piping and equipment, as well as performing preventive maintenance within the facility.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform welding for stainless and carbon steel pipes under supervision.
Read and interpret work orders, flow sheets, blueprints, vendor specifications, and P&IDs to determine necessary repairs.
Proficient in TIG, MIG, and stick welding.
Conduct welding, brazing, and soldering for repair, replacement, and installation of various metals including stainless steel, carbon steel, aluminum, and copper.
Utilize hand, power, and shop tools effectively.
Assemble and install process equipment.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and solve equipment issues.
Perform pipe fitting, rigging, and equipment installation.
Assist with equipment assembly and installation.
Lubricate equipment as needed.
Enter data into the work order system.
Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Testing Requirements:
Candidates must pass the following 6G tests during the interview process:
2" carbon steel TIG root, TIG cover
6" schedule 40, TIG root, stick cover (7018)
2" stainless steel TIG root, TIG cover
Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 6 am - 2:30 pm
Guaranteed 40 hours per week
