One of our company's TOP 5 Sales Professionals - located in our Boston office - is seeking an experienced, highly energetic Driver/Assistant. Candidate needs to transport our Sales Professional safely to client appointments throughout the New England area. Essential to this role is efficiently performing key assistant duties while our Sales Professional meets with clients. There is no typical workday, as hours are dependent upon client availability. Days can begin as early at 6:00 a.m. and end as late as 7:30 p.m. Schedule can change at the last minute, so candidate must be flexible.
This full-time position averages 50 hours per week. Starting pay is $25.00 per hour. Hours exceeding 40 hours per week are paid at overtime rate (1.5 times hourly pay). We are looking to fill the position immediately.
Responsibilities - Driving Sales Professional to 5-10 client appointments daily throughout the New England area; using retrofitted Mercedes Benz Sprinter Van mobile office provided by the Sales Professional
- Loading and unloading inventory from van; organizing van daily
- Providing pertinent client details prior to appointment
- Researching prospective clients using LinkedIn, social media and internet
- Calling clients to schedule/confirm appointments and follow-up on orders
- Following up on order status with factories
- Handling client-related issues with home office and factories
- Verifying accuracy of orders keyed by office supervisor
- Entering orders
- Answering incoming phone calls
- Delivering and picking up items as needed
- Performing miscellaneous projects/duties as assigned
- Completing other duties as assigned
