Job Title: On-Call Event Bartender

Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic bartender to join our tea.]. As a bartender, you will be responsible for crafting and serving a wide range of beverages, including cocktails, mocktails, and other alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, to our guests in a timely and professional manner. You will also provide excellent customer service, engaging with guests to ensure their satisfaction and creating a welcoming and friendly atmosphere in our hotel bar.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, mocktails, beers, wines, and spirits, according to established recipes and standards.
• Interact with guests in a friendly and courteous manner, taking drink orders, offering recommendations, and addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization behind the bar area, including proper storage of beverages, glassware, and bar tools.
• Adhere to all safety and sanitation guidelines, including responsible alcohol service practices, to ensure the well-being of our guests and staff.
• Monitor and control inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed and minimizing waste to optimize efficiency and profitability.
• Collaborate with other members of the hotel staff, including servers, kitchen staff, and management, to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
• Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge of beverages and hospitality trends.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working as a bartender in a hotel, restaurant, or similar hospitality setting required.
• Extensive knowledge of different types of beverages, including cocktails, wines, and spirits, as well as mixing techniques and garnishes.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to interact confidently and professionally with guests and colleagues.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• TIPS or similar certification for responsible alcohol service is a plus.
