Job Title: Medical Assembler

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Assembler to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling various medical devices using hand tools and a microscope. You should be able to quickly learn and handle intricate processes, working under a microscope and cross-training at different stations. The position requires working in a full clean room environment and involves weekly overtime, which varies from week to week.

Responsibilities

• Assemble medical devices using hand tools and a microscope.
• Learn and execute complex assembly processes quickly.
• Work under a microscope and at different assembly stations.
• Handle and maneuver small components and parts.
• Maintain a clean room environment by following strict protocols.
• Ensure accurate labeling and color identification for audit purposes.
• Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

Essential Skills

• Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Great hand dexterity.
• Understand measurements with rulers and calipers.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds regularly.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work overtime as required.
• Reliable transportation.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Prefer 6 months+ of experience in medical assembly or other forms of manufacturing/assembly (open to entry-level candidates).
• Experience with microscopes and cleanroom assembly.

Work Environment

The work environment is a full clean room setting in a medical device company. Employees are required to wear hair nets, gowns, booties, and wash hands before entering the cleanroom. The following are prohibited: nail polish, long fake nails, makeup, fragrances (perfume or cologne), henna tattoos, pants with holes, and open-toe shoes.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Plymouth, Minnesot

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.75 - $19.25/hr.
