Long-standing transportation company in NE Houston is hiring for a Logistics Coordinator. Generous and comprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, vision, life insurance) with PTO and holiday pay. Profit sharing with tenure.

Will be responsible for supply chain operations, to include receiving orders to shipping and tracking materials. With strong customer service, will coordinate with carriers, dispatchers, drivers, and warehouse to ensure timely delivery. Must be quick-thinking with strong problem-solving strengths.

Duties to include, but not limited to:
• Arrange and coordinate pick up and delivery schedule, optimizing routes
• Provide rates, quotes, and billing, including all paperwork and inputting work orders
• Respond to customer emails in professional and timely manner
• Organize dry van, reefer, and flat bad commercial loads together and provide accurate quotes to drivers
• Set up loads with brokers and carriers

Must Have Qualifications:
• 2 years of experience in logistics/transportation/freight industry
• 1 year of dispatch experience for reefer, dry van, and/or flat bed commercial loads
• Microsoft Office proficiency: Outlook, Excel, and Word
