Nevels Nichols, LLP is a California Civil Litigation firm located in San Diego, CA, focusing on Employment, Real Property, and Business litigation matters.

Role Description

This is a full-time position (40 hours a week) and after the training period, this position has the flexibility to be hybrid on-site/remote. The Legal Assistant will be responsible for answering phones, client intake, calendaring, document management, court filings, legal document preparation, administrative assistance, and supporting attorneys in various legal tasks.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of office experience
• High level of motivation with ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to multitask, successfully manage and prioritize a variety of demands daily, and take direction from support staff and attorneys
• Ability to work in a fast-paced legal environment with changing priorities
• Ability to work under pressure
• Strong time-keeping and time tracking skills
• Extremely detail-oriented and able to prioritize tasks
• Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Legal Document Preparation and knowledge
• Experience in Administrative Assistance
• Spanish fluency is a plus
