Job Description

Garmann Miller is seeking an entry to mid-level site designer who possesses a curious nature and a strong commitment to personal and organizational growth.

Duties/Responsibilities :

• Create conceptual site designs that align with client goals and project objectives.
• Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration with clients, team members and regulatory agencies.
• Demonstrate ability to work on multiple projects concurrently, including scheduling and budgeting.
• Prepare and deliver presentations to convey design concepts and rationale to clients.
• Select appropriate plant species while considering factors like climate, soil conditions and maintenance requirements.
• Develop sets of detailed construction documents.
• Provide support during the construction phase, including reviewing contractor submittals, conducting site visits and addressing any design-related issues.

Experience/Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture from an accredited program
• 5+ years of experience in the field of landscape architecture preferred
• Demonstrated ability to work independently
• Technical skills in AutoCAD
• Willingness to learn Revit
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud is a plus
• Experience in specification writing is a plus
