DESCRIPTION:  

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Frontend Unreal Engine Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing cutting-edge visual experiences and interactive elements within the Unreal Engine for our impactful solutions. You will leverage your expertise in C++ and the Unreal Engine ecosystem to create compelling and performant user interfaces and environments. 

Day-to-day responsibilities and duties include: 

  • Develop and implement frontend features and functionalities within the Unreal Engine using C++
  • Design and create engaging and functional game levels and environments. 
  • Establish robust and reusable systems through the creation of effective template classes
  • Develop intuitive and complex user interfaces and menus within the Unreal Engine. 
  • Implement and manage mapping functions for input and actions. 
  • Utilize and understand GameInstances for managing persistent data and global game state. 
  • Implement and manage different GameModes to define gameplay rules and experiences. 
  • Optimize rendering and performance for efficient handling of large amounts of polygons , particularly within visual effects systems like Niagara
  • Develop and implement custom shaders to achieve desired visual styles and effects. 
  • Collaborate closely with designers, backend developers, and other team members to ensure seamless integration of frontend elements. 
  • Contribute to the overall architecture and technical design of the application. 
  • Identify and resolve technical challenges and performance bottlenecks. 
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to maintaining high code quality standards. 
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Unreal Engine and related technologies. 

REQUIREMENTS:  

Applicants MUST  

- must be able to qualify and maintain security clearance.  

 

- have at least 5 years of Frontend Unreal Engine Developer experience and have a good understanding of professional business environments. 

- be very friendly and able to calmly handle clients and staff 

- be able to carry themselves in a professional manner  

- be punctual, responsible, and reliable 

- have good written and verbal communication skills (answering the phone and composing emails in a professional manner)

Pay: From $80,000 per year excluding bonus and benefits. 

Schedule:  

  • The schedule for this position is project driven and can be highly variable depending on project deadlines and the specific needs of the software development teams. 
  • Monday to Friday 
  • Weekends as needed
