As we continue to grow, we are seeking an IT Manager to oversee and support our technology infrastructure, enterprise applications, cybersecurity, and data management to ensure smooth and secure business operations.

Position Overview

The IT Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the company’s IT infrastructure, software applications, cybersecurity, and data management. This role will ensure efficient technology operations, troubleshoot issues, support end-users, and collaborate with senior leadership to align IT initiatives with business goals.

This position is based in Roanoke, VA, and relocation assistance will be provided for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

IT Infrastructure & Operations

  • Manage and maintain IT systems, networks, and cloud environments.
  • Ensure system uptime, performance, and security across all locations.
  • Supervise the IT support team, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues.
  • Oversee IT asset management, procurement, and vendor relationships.

Software Applications & Support

  • Administer and maintain enterprise applications (ERP, CRM, HRIS, and other business software).
  • Ensure seamless integration and performance of business software.
  • Collaborate with departments to identify and implement technology solutions that enhance productivity.
  • Maintain software security and compliance.

Cybersecurity & Compliance

  • Implement and enforce IT security policies to protect company data and systems.
  • Monitor cybersecurity threats and ensure compliance with industry security standards.
  • Manage backup and disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity.
  • Support IT audits and risk assessments.

Data Management & Business Intelligence

  • Assist with data governance policies, storage, and security measures.
  • Support data analytics initiatives to drive business intelligence and decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).

IT Strategy & Budgeting

  • Assist in the development of IT policies and strategic initiatives.
  • Work with leadership to identify cost-effective technology investments.
  • Manage IT budgets and ensure efficient allocation of resources.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of IT management or system administration experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Hands-on experience with IT infrastructure, networks, ERP systems, and cloud solutions.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and IT compliance standards.
  • Experience managing IT support teams and collaborating with cross-functional departments.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
