Job Description

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Graphic Design Intern to join our dynamic team. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in graphic design, working closely with our design and marketing teams. You will assist in creating visual content that supports our projects, including maps, diagrams, charts, infographics, and document layouts. This is a great opportunity for aspiring designers to develop their skills, build their portfolio, and contribute to meaningful projects.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the creation of maps, diagrams, charts, graphs, and other infographic elements for a variety of projects.
• Support the design and layout of documents, presentations, and marketing materials based on provided data, messaging, and storyboards.
• Conduct research to gather visual references, data, and information to support the creation of graphics.
• Help design and prepare PowerPoint templates and presentations.
• Create and edit sponsorship ads, displays, and banners to meet project specifications.
• Collaborate with the design team to ensure design consistency and alignment with brand guidelines.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas for design solutions.
• Assist in reviewing and refining design concepts based on feedback from team members and clients.

Qualifications:

• Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.).
• Strong understanding of design principles, layout, typography, and visual communication.
• Ability to create clean, effective, and aesthetically pleasing designs.
• Good understanding of creating infographics and visual data representations.
• Familiarity with Microsoft PowerPoint for template and presentation creation.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• A portfolio showcasing design work or relevant academic projects is preferred.
