About the Role: Director of Nursing
As the Director of Nursing, you will oversee all aspects of the nursing department—leading clinical operations, managing performance, and ensuring exceptional patient outcomes. You’ll also serve as the hospital’s Infection Prevention Officer and play a key role in maintaining regulatory compliance and patient safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage all nursing operations and staff development
Ensure delivery of high-quality care in accordance with all regulatory and accreditation standards
Serve as the Infection Prevention/Control Officer and oversee related hospital programs
Participate actively in Performance Improvement and Risk Management programs
Develop and implement clinical goals, policies, and procedures
Collaborate closely with hospital leadership to drive excellence in patient care
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited program
5+ years of psychiatric nursing experience
3+ years in a nursing management, administrative, or DON role
Active RN license (Idaho or compact license)
Preferred:
Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) or related healthcare administration field
