This position operates computed tomography scanners for a variety of procedures following directives of staff radiologists. He/ She is responsible for explaining procedures to the patients, administering contrast media as requested, and scheduling patients in an organized manner. All duties performed per approved protocol. Responsibilities include obtaining patient clinical history for procedure, reviewing lab values and screening patient for allergies to determine contraindications to contrast media, administering oral and IV contrast media, operating CT scanners for variety of procedures, coordinating workload with other clinical sections and departments, and monitoring quality in patient care functions. Minimum qualifications include High School or GED, ARRT certification, Ohio Department of Health Radiologic License, and BLS certification. The position is full-time, night shift (7:00p - 7:30a), working every weekend Friday and Saturday night with additional premium pay. A $15,000 sign-on bonus is available for external applicants and newly licensed internal associates with a one-year work commitment. The manager is open to training a licensed radiology technologist looking to grow into the CT modality.
