We are currently seeking a Construction Electrician! You will strive to provide safe electrical systems for a variety of customers.
Job Description
We have an immediate opening for an experienced Construction Electrician for the following roles: Helper, Apprentice, Lead and Foreman. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems. We will be working in a team environment and you must have a good team attitude with the ability to work well with others. We work with both residential and commercial clients, so you must be able to diagnose and repair electrical wiring problems in a variety of buildings, such as outlets, lighting, servers, and electronic equipment connections. Our ideal candidate has at least two years of professional experience and has extensive knowledge of different types of electrical networks.
Plan out materials needed for pick up prior to arriving on the job
Identify electrical problem areas on-site that need replacement or repair
Perform repair or replace wiring when necessary
Troubleshoot and ensure that the electrical system is working properly before leaving client location
Maintain and store tools and equipment properly
Understand and willing to use out electronic management software for time and job info
Have a clean driving record and be able to drive a company vehicle
Be willing to work in a residential and commercial environment
Must have own hand tools
Be willing and able to work longer hours, evenings and weekends if needed to complete the job
Be able to work out of town on a M-F basis
Perform estimates for residential/ commercial as needed
Preferred Skills and Education
- Completion of an electrician program at a vocational school or an electrician apprenticeship
- Current electrician license - 5+ years of electrician experience preferred
- Proficient with standard industry tools and techniques
- Able to read blueprints and schematic drawings
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Compensation Brackets:
Apprentice years 0-4: $15 - $25 DOE
Lead : $25 - $35 DOE
Foreman : $35 - $45 plus profit sharing options
