Internship Opportunities:
Riddell is hiring for summer internships for the 2025 season! This is a great opportunity for current college students and recent college grads to gain knowledge, skills, and experience through project-based work. We are committed to providing our interns with valuable learning opportunities and allow them the opportunity to share their ideas and creativity with the team. These are paid internships and vary on location, roles and level of experience.
Locations: North Ridgeville Ohio, Des Plaines Illinois, and Irving Texas (not open to remote)
Relocation: Not Applicable
Types of Internships: A variety of paid internships are offered by Riddell. Current internships are full-time. Each internship differs and the time commitment will be agreed upon with the individual supervisor. The following internships are available in the following areas and are determined by the business needs and the event schedule.
- Marketing & Events Intern - (Located in our Des Plaines Office) You will be an integral part of the team, learning about different types of projects from conception through final execution. As a contributor to the team, this position will include internal/external/executive communications activities, digital/social media projects, events/promotions staffing, assistance with related tasks as assigned by other departments, and administrative responsibilities for the team and office. Our intern needs to be ready to learn, organized, detail-oriented, and interested in the sports industry, particularly football.
- Marketing & Creative Services Internship - (Located in our Des Plains Office) This role will create social media campaigns, design graphics for various communications, and be key support at our annual content shoot that fuels our 2025 season creative and business materials. Our intern needs to be ready to learn, organized, detail-oriented, and interested in the sports industry, particularly football. The seasonal nature of the football industry also requires our intern to be flexible/adaptable to the various needs of the particular season they are with the MarCom team.
- Consumer Products Internship - (Located in our Des Plaines Office)Riddell seeks a passionate individual to join the Consumer Products team as our summer intern focused on product mockups, hands-on prototype development, and more. You will be an integral part of this in-house team, using your skillset for different types of projects. Our intern needs to be ready to learn, organized, detail-oriented, and interested in the sports industry, particularly football.
- Graphic Design Internship - (Located in our Des Plaines Office) We are looking for a talented graphic design intern to join our team. In this position, you will be creating production-ready artwork from start to finish. Your artwork will be used for decorated apparel, including screen printing and embroidery, with an emphasis on creating product images for our online store platform. While there will be limited opportunities for creative work, this is primarily a production position. You will help turn design ideas into real products while honing your skills and learning to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Engineer Internship - (Located in our Des Plaines Office) The Engineer Intern will use and perfect their skills in 2D/3D Computer Aided Design (CAD), have a passion for football, and product development. As the Engineer Intern, you will support the Riddell Research and Development Team in designing and developing world class protective products. We are looking for a detail-oriented individual who is eager to help with wherever is needed.
- The Product Development Internship - (Located in our Des Plaines Office) The Product Development Intern works on the Research and Development team that is responsible for the design and development of Riddell products. Responsibilities will include supporting the daily activities and projects of the R&D team as well as taking on at least one major project during the internship.
- Logistics and Distribution Internship - (Located in our North Ridgeville Office) As a Logistics and Distribution Intern, you will be splitting your time between our Logistics and Distribution departments to gain real world experience and assist with our Peak season. Roughly 25% of this role will be based in a warehouse environment. We are committed to providing you with valuable learning opportunities as you share your ideas and recommendations with the team.
- Environmental, Health, Safety and Human Resources Internship - (Located in our North Ridgeville Office) The Environmental, Health, Safety and Human Resources Intern assists the team with safety and environmental initiatives for all Riddell manufacturing facilities including remote locations. This candidate will use their knowledge of business to real-world analysis and reporting. This role will work with both the Environmental and Safety Manager and Human Resources team on data tracking and special projects.
- Accounting Internship - (Located in our North Ridgeville Office) The Accounting Intern will assist with various projects/initiatives within the Accounting department (Accounting, Accounts Payable, & Tax). Intern will participate in providing financial information and reports for the organization by maintaining, analyzing, preparing and monitoring journal entries, the general ledger and internal accounts. This position contributes to the timeliness and accuracy of the monthly, quarterly and annual closings of the general ledger in accordance with company policies, procedures and processes.
- Operations Engineer Internship - (Located in our North Ridgeville Office) The primary objective of the Engineering Intern is to assist the business unit in meeting its strategic goals by assisting and supporting Kaizen Events, Plant Layout and Work Cell Design, Document Control, Process Improvements and Supply Chain Initiatives. All work is completed under guidance and direction of the Plant Process Engineering Manager.
- InSite Analytics Internship - (Located in our North Ridgeville Office) The InSite Analytics Intern will assist in a variety of matters for the Smart Helmet Team. Summer is always the busiest time of year for our team, so we are looking for an intern to alleviate the workload to allow a more focused and streamlined setup season. The Intern will work with both current InSite Training Tool customers and our Sales Team to assist with InSite helmet setup process and provide a further understanding of the ITT platform. The Intern will also help with supplemental support of the InSite Hotline, which aids both Sales Team and ITT customers. Lastly, for our new Axiom helmet, we will need assistance for our Scanning Help Line to ensure our sales force has an understanding for the scanning process as well as any troubleshooting.
- Credit and Collections Internship - (Located in our North Ridgeville Office) The Credit and Collections Intern assists in a wide range of administrative and general support duties, learning how the company functions and accounting policies, procedures, and practices. The intern will help with special projects and processes documentation as created by the intern supervisor.
- Quality Assurance Internship - (Located in our North Ridgeville Office)The Quality Assurance Intern assists with quality standards by assisting the Quality Manager & Quality Specialist on performing various inspection procedures on incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products. This position helps ensure that products meet or exceed internal requirements and customer standards.
- AI and Automation Internship (Located in our Irving Office)The IT Summer Intern is an entry level position at BRG Sports where student will receive knowledge and training required to contribute as a valuable IT resource at BRG Sports. IT summer Intern will receive real-world work and add value to BRG IT team during their time at the BRG Sports. The summer Intern will be required to support all related business projects and members of the IT team responsible for the implementation of all new business processes and project implementations using Artificial Intelligence and Automation.
- Data Analytics Internship (Located in our Irving Office) The IT Summer Intern is an entry level position at BRG Sports where student will receive knowledge and training required to contribute as a valuable IT resource at BRG Sports. IT summer Intern will receive real-world work and add value to BRG IT team during their time at the BRG Sports. The Summer Intern will be required to support all related business projects and members of the IT team responsible for the implementation of all new business processes and project implementations.
- Computer Vision Internship (Located in our Irving Office) The IT Summer Intern is an entry level position at BRG Sports where student will receive knowledge and training required to contribute as a valuable IT resource at BRG Sports. IT summer Intern will receive real-world work and add value to BRG IT team during their time at the BRG Sports. Summer Intern will serve as a support and project person for Recondition product identification through image recognition. Work on general IT and other projects, problems, and questions. He /She will be required to support all related business projects and members of the IT team responsible for the implementation of all new business processes and project implementations.

Graduate & Undergraduate College Student
Any undergraduate student who is currently enrolled or accepted to an accredited college or university. Any student who has recently graduated from an accredited college or university or any student who is currently enrolled in or accepted to an accredited graduate school.
Internship Dates Summer Internship: May - August Actual start/end dates vary according to our event schedule and will be agreed upon during the hiring process. Please indicate your availability on your internship application.
